1941 1C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-102, MS67 Red PCGS. The 1941
Lincoln cent set a new high mark with over 880 million pieces
produced, and important doubled die varieties have surfaced from
the issue. Both Cherrypickers and the Guide Book list
three significant 1941 varieties, with the FS-102 exhibiting the
most prominent doubling on the legends and date. This Red Superb
Gem FS-102 displays fiery-orange luster on well-struck devices,
showing no significant marks. No finer pieces are reported at
