    Description

1943 1C MS68 PCGS. Unblemished, crisp steel-gray fields--or perhaps more correctly, zinc-gray fields--are present on this Superb Gem specimen, which is unplagued by the spots and corrosion frequently seen on this issue. The strike is robust throughout, with both sides possessing breathtaking appeal. PCGS has graded only 47 in this grade approaching perfection, with none finer (10/05).
