    1943-D 1C MS68 PCGS. Sharply struck with exceptional mint luster and splendidly preserved surfaces. A loupe reveals light die striations and die polish lines (as struck) on each side, but no marks that require mention and vibrant eye appeal. Neither service has certified a numerically finer example (4/19).
