Popular Repunched Mintmark Variety
1943-D/D 1C FS-501 MS65 PCGS. Ex: Bender Collection. FS-501
shows the mintmark widely repunched, with the secondary impression
low and to the left of the primary. Examples are scarce in Gem or
better condition. This piece displays brilliant silvery luster and
satin surfaces, with a few light flecks that limit the grade.
