Description
Superb 1943-D/D Lincoln Cent
1943-D/D 1C MS67 ANACS. RPM-1. FS-019. This coin is every bit the Superb Gem: radiant, nearly blemish-free surfaces, sharp striking definition in all areas, and impressive eye appeal. According to Lange (1996), there are 17 repunched mintmark varieties of this wartime D-mint issue, but only RPM-1 commands a significant premium among Lincoln cent specialists. The undermintmark is readily evident under a loupe. From the Lynch Collection.
