1943-S Steel Cent, MS68
Registry-Grade Example, CAC
1943-S 1C MS68 PCGS. CAC. Softly struck on the 4 of the
date, but bold elsewhere, with extremely bright semi-prooflike
luster in the obverse and reverse fields, where numerous die
striations (as struck) are evident. Seemingly pristine on each
side. Neither service reports any numerically finer pieces,
although both report grades of MS68+ (12/25).Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 12/2004), lot 5357; Baltimore Rarities (Stack's Bowers, 3/2018), lot 2106.(Registry values: N991)
