Few examples of this early-1950s Philadelphia Lincoln cent have attained the PCGS MS67 Red grade of the present piece -- precisely 16, in fact, turning on its head the conventional wisdom that the mintmarked Lincoln cents are conditionally rarer than their P-mint counterparts. Splendid luster runs over orange-red, problem-free surfaces. Population: 17 in 67 Red, 0 finer (3/14).(Registry values: N491)
