Description

1951 Lincoln Cent, MS67 Red
None Certified Finer

1951 1C MS67 Red PCGS. CAC. Buoyed by the purported rarity of the 1950-D nickel, collectors entered the hobby with renewed vigor in 1951, but the Lincoln cent of that year does not seem to have benefited, as few were reserved in Superb Gem condition. This example displays brilliant-orange surfaces with typically full details for what is recognized as a well-struck issue. A few light freckles appear between the wheat ears, but are not distracting to the unaided eye. Population: 17 in 67 Red, 0 finer (5/14).(Registry values: N491)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22F3, PCGS# 2788, Greysheet# 2003)
