Description

1951 Cent, MS67+ Red CAC
Tied for Finest Known

1951 1C MS67+ Red PCGS. CAC. Ex: Whispering Pines. The 1951 Lincoln cent is scarce in MS67 Red, although examples appear with enough regularity to satisfy demand from casual collectors. It is Registry Set collectors who have few options for this issue. PCGS lists only seven coins in MS67 Red with a Plus designation, and CAC has only stickered 17 Superb Gems overall. The current coin displays bold definition and satiny original luster without impairment. The color is copper-gold on the obverse and deeper orange on the reverse. Population: 65 in 67 (7 in 67+) Red, 0 finer. CAC: 17 in 67, 0 finer (11/24).(Registry values: N491)
