Red Superb Gem 1954-D Cent

1954-D 1C MS67 Red PCGS. Ex: Omaha Bank Hoard. The 1954-D was struck in vast numbers and saved by the roll in Mint State. But surprisingly few pieces merit a high grade today, since copper tones and develop spots. However, the present lustrous brick-red Superb Gem is both intricately struck and gorgeously preserved. Neither major service has certified any finer. Population: 34 in 67, 0 finer (5/06).(Registry values: N491)
