1955 Doubled Die Obverse Cent
A Pleasing MS64 Brown
1955 1C Doubled Die Obverse MS64 Brown PCGS. CAC. FS-101.
Uniform light brown patination runs over both sides of this
near-Gem. The date and all obverse lettering are dramatically
doubled. The design elements are generally softly struck, a typical
characteristic of this issue. No significant contact marks or spots
are evident. A very pleasing Brown example. PCGS has seen only
seven finer in this color designation (2/14).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 2825, Greysheet# 2165)
