Pleasing Near-Gem Brown 1955 Cent
Popular Doubled Die Obverse

A pleasing near-Gem representative, this coin displays small areas of attractive toning, particularly on the obverse, including shades of cherry-red, violet, and several hues of blue. Not surprisingly given their popularity, counterfeits exist. All of the genuine examples exhibit a slight misalignment of the reverse. Minor surface marks are present. PCGS has awarded higher numeric grades to a mere 7 examples (3/13).(Registry values: N1793)
