Striking MS64 Red 1955 Doubled Die Cent
1955 1C Doubled Die Obverse MS64 Red PCGS. FS-101, formerly FS-021.8. A strongly struck and immensely appealing near-Gem example of the signature Lincoln cent doubled die. The dusky reddish-orange surfaces, minimally abraded for the grade, show occasional violet and green accents in the fields. PCGS has certified 18 finer Red representatives (10/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 2827, GSID# 2167)
