Long appreciated as the most famous error of the Lincoln cent series, the 1955 Doubled Die Obverse is prized by error collectors and series enthusiasts alike. Much original red color remains on this pleasing Gem example, blended subtly with light brown toning. The devices are well detailed, and the all-important doubling is bold.
