    1955/55 1C Doubled Die Obverse MS62 Red and Brown PCGS. The 1955 doubled die cent is the most famous of all Lincoln cent varieties. Countless numismatists of all ages searched their pocket change for this DDO, until Wheat cents disappeared from circulation during the sixties. This unmarked and sharply struck example has generous portions of dusky gold color, gently mellowed with lilac tints.(Registry values: N991)
