Sumptuous MS67 Red 1955-D Cent
1955-D 1C MS67 Red PCGS. Blazing luster and rich orange-gold color dominate both sides. Even though countless bags of this later D-mint Wheat cent issue were saved, examples at this lofty level have proven elusive. Neither NGC nor PCGS has graded a finer Red example, and the latter firm has certified just 10 pieces at this level (10/08).From The Jack Lee Estate Collection.(Registry values: N491)
