Description

1957 Cent, MS67+ Red
Rare Tied-for-Finest Registry Coin

1957 1C MS67+ Red PCGS. CAC. Ex: Bender Collection. A conditionally scarce Superb Gem Red example of this late Wheat cent issue, rare in this grade with the PCGS Plus designation. This is one of just seven MS67 Red 1957 cents overall with CAC endorsement. Luster is frosty and vibrant, yielding rich copper-orange and rose-red hues with no carbon spotting. Strike sharpness is similarly impressive. Only a few other coins in this numeric grade share the Plus designation, and none are finer, making this piece an essential acquisition for the Registry collector. Population: 45 in 67 (4 in 67+) Red, 0 finer. CAC: 7 in 67, 0 finer (10/22).
