1958 Lincoln Cent, MS67+ Red
One Numerically Finer Coin, CAC

1958 1C MS67+ Red PCGS. CAC. Abraham Lincoln's portrait was introduced on the one cent coin in 1909 to memorialize the 100th anniversary of his birthday. Lincoln's sesquicentennial in 1959 saw the wheat stalks on the reverse replaced with the Lincoln Memorial. This 1958 Plus-graded Superb Gem is among the finest of the final-year Wheat cents, as PCGS reports none numerically finer and NGC shows just one in MS68 (12/25). The sharply struck devices are complemented with satiny, fiery copper-red surfaces that yield exceptional eye appeal.(Registry values: N491)
