    Description

1999 Wide AM Cent, MS68 Red
FS-901, The Only Certified Coin in This Grade

1999 1C Wide AM, FS-901, MS68 Red PCGS. The Wide AM reverse is much scarcer than the usually seen Close AM reverse. The Wide AM die was intended for S-mint proofs, but instead was used to strike a small, but unknown number, of coins for circulation in the Philadelphia Mint. The surfaces are bright with even, unmellowed mint read over each side. Exceptional quality for this modern rarity. Population: 1 in 68 Red, 0 finer (10/20).

    Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 391432, Base PCGS# 3154)

    Weight: 2.50 grams

    Metal: 99.20% Zinc, 0.80% Copper
