    Description

1909 1C VDB MS67 Red PCGS. CAC. Ex: Blay-Duckor. The 1909 VDB Lincoln cent represents the first coinage of Brenner's designs in 1909. While examples were heavily saved at the time of issue and remain plentiful in MS67 Red, such coins with CAC approval are scarce. Moreover, only a handful of finer pieces are known. This example displays beautiful rose-gold and copper-orange coloration across satiny, untouched, and unblemished surfaces. A complete lack of carbon and the absence of abrasions provide impressive visual appeal. An ideal type coin but also a prime Registry contender. CAC: 21% of a total 272 submissions for this issue/grade passed. 57 in 67, 0 finer (2/20).
