    Description

1936 Cent, MS64 Red and Brown
    FS-101, Doubled Die Obverse

1936 1C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. FS-101 is the most prominent doubled die obverse of 1936, the variety referenced by the Guide Book listing. Die doubling is prominent on all obverse lettering, the date, and Lincoln's bowtie. This is a particularly luminous and satiny coin with chestnut toning over rich copper-orange mint luster. A few green and rose accents are also visible with a loupe. Neither side has bothersome abrasions.
