    Description

1936 Satin Finish Cent, PR66+ Red and Brown
    Top-Quality Example

1936 1C Type One -- Satin Finish PR66+ Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. The obverse is largely a blazing fire-red with a few verges into violet, contrasting nicely against a mostly orange-gold reverse with a crescent of brownish-red at the left wheat ear. Another dollop of brown appears on the N of CENT, but there are no mentionable signs of carbon or other distractions. A top-notch example of this first "modern-era" Lincoln cent proof issue. Population: 6 in 66 (2 in 66+) Red and Brown, 0 finer (6/15).(Registry values: P1) (NGC ID# 22L2, PCGS# 3331)

    Weight: 3.11 grams

    Metal: 95% Copper, 5% Tin & Zinc
