    Description

    Rare Cameo 1951 Cent, a Flashy PR66

1951 1C PR66 Cameo PCGS. A well-preserved piece that has remarkable contrast between the devices and the vivid orange-red fields. The fields are deeply reflective and serve to provide a "black" backdrop to the frosted devices. Highly appealing and rarely found with cameo contrast. According to Rick Tomaska: "Gem cameo 1951 Lincoln cents are extremely rare. In fact, of all the cameo proofs minted since 1950, this is the rarest coin in the series in the higher levels of contrast." Population: 31 in 66, 6 finer (10/07).(Registry values: P2)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22LB, PCGS# 83362)
