Issued to commemorate the Independence of the Republic of Mali in 1960. NGC and KM have listed assorted dates for this set from 1975-1977. This seems to be rather unlikely, and the Friedberg gold book lists the sate as (1967). We are going to go with Friedberg. In any event, it is a very scarce set, much rarer than the other Mali gold set, and the first we have seen. AGW 1.713 oz.
