1916-D 10C -- Artificial Toning -- NGC Details. Unc. The
1916-D has been avidly pursued by collectors of this popular series
ever since its low mintage was known. Like the S-VDB cent from the
previous decade, examples are not rare in the strict sense of the
word but demand far outstrips the supply of available pieces. This
example displays deep, multicolor toning on each side that appears
too opaque to be natural. Still, a high-grade example of this
