    Description

    1916-D Mercury Dime, AU58
    Sharp, Nearly Full Bands

1916-D 10C AU58 PCGS. Satiny luster prevails on both sides of this near-Mint example despite slight friction that prevents a Mint State designation. The strike is sharp, and the horizontal fasces bands are remarkably close to being full, with a virtually complete dividing line. Traces of russet toning warm the borders. No abrasions stand out. The 1916-D is the preeminent key date in the series, essential for every Guide Book collection.(Registry values: N2998)
