Description

Lustrous 1916-D Mercury, MS62 Full Bands

1916-D 10C MS62 Full Bands PCGS. Wispy gold toning on the obverse does little to diminish the brilliant silver surfaces of this frosty Mint State piece. The design elements are sharp, except for the highpoints of the obverse that are slightly blunt. All reverse details, including the central bands, are crisp.
The 1916-D Mercury dime is coveted as a key date issue in all grades. This piece, near the lower end of the Mint State scale, provides an excellent opportunity for the specialist to acquire an attractive coin at a price level more reasonable than other higher grade coins.(Registry values: N2998)
