Description

Charming VF25 1916-D Mercury Dime

1916-D 10C VF25 PCGS. An impressive silver-gray key date dime that appears to have traces of mint luster despite moderate wear on the cap and fasces. All legends are bold, and marks are inconsequential. Although the 1916-D is obtainable (for a price) in lofty Mint State grades, midgrade circulated examples are highly elusive. Most survivors are well worn. Encased in an old green label holder.(Registry values: N1793)
