Description

1916-D Mercury Dime, XF40
Classic 20th Century Key

1916-D 10C XF40 PCGS. From a tiny mintage of 264,000 pieces, the 1916-D Mercury dime is one of the most-wanted 20th century coins. The present example is moderately worn, but the devices were strongly impressed, and much original detail remains. The surfaces are mostly silver-gray, with some darker outlines around the date and the back of Liberty's head. Overall, a pleasing specimen of this key Mercury dime.(Registry values: N2998)
