Superb Gem 1917 Mercury Dime, Full Bands

1917 10C MS67 Full Bands PCGS. Ex: Comics-N-Stuff San Diego.
When discussing the 1917 Mercury Dime, thoughts turn to high
mintage (over 55 million coins) and abundant availability. This is
hardly an issue that is mentioned when talking about 20th century
coinage rarities, yet examples in Superb Gem MS67 grade with Full
Split Bands are rarities. This lovely example is tied with several
other pieces for finest certified by PCGS. Without a doubt, it will
soon claim its place in one of the best Registry Sets. The surfaces
are mostly brilliant with frosty silver luster accented by deep
iridescent toning near the borders. As suggested by the PCGS
designator, it is crisply and sharply struck with full definition.
