Condition Rarity 1919-D Dime, MS65 Full Bands

1919-D 10C MS65 Full Bands PCGS. The 1919-D is one of the great condition and strike rarities in the Mercury dime series. Typically seen with soft peripheries and rarely found with fully raised central bands, this piece is far above average with a fully detailed crossband, crisp definition on the diagonals, and no notable weakness at the peripheries. The frosted surfaces are almost abrasion-free, save for a couple of tiny marks on each side. Medium golden-gray toning decorates the smooth faces of this lustrous example. Population: 13 in 65, 5 finer (6/07).(Registry values: N4719)
