Description
Sharply Struck 1919-D Dime, MS65 Full Bands, PCGS
1919-D 10C MS65 Full Bands PCGS. This date usually comes with peripheral weakness, and fully rounded bands are rare. The present example offers a notable exception, being sharply struck throughout. In addition to Full Bands, the peripheral design elements are all bold and distinctly separated from the rim. Each side is toned in medium intensity gold, crimson, violet, pale blue, and light green colors. The lustrous surfaces are virtually devoid of any serious impairments. Fine die cracks (as made) are noted at the lower obverse. Population: 9 in 65, 5 finer (7/04).From The Reed Hawn Collection of Mercury Dimes.(#4925) (Registry values: N4719)
