Description
Highly Lustrous 1920 Dime
1920 10C MS67 Full Bands PCGS. With a mintage of nearly 60
million pieces, the 1920 dime is available in all grades through
MS65, and even Full Band coins are not especially scarce. Superb
Gems with Full Bands, however, such as the example in this lot, are
elusive. Indeed, PCGS and NGC have certified fewer than 25 such
specimens, and just a couple finer. Dazzling luster emanates from
immaculately preserved surfaces that show faint tan color under
magnification. An impressive strike results in sharp definition
throughout. Population: 12 in 67 finer, 0 finer (6/07).(Registry values: N1793)
