Description
Superb Gem 1920 Mercury Dime, Full Bands
No Full Bands Examples Certified Finer at PCGS
1920 10C MS67 Full Bands PCGS. Ex: Comics-N-Stuff San Diego.
The 1920 Mercury dime enjoyed a huge mintage of 59 million pieces,
making the date readily available in all grades up to the Gem level
and ensuring its popularity with type collectors. The supply
quickly falls off above the MS65 level, and examples in MS67
condition with Full Bands definition are quite rare. The present
coin exhibits subtle, satiny mint luster, with rounded, fully
separated bands on the fasces. The surfaces are delicately toned in
shades of ice-blue and golden-brown. The toning, luster, and strike
combine to produce stunning eye appeal. Population: 13 in 67 Full
