Description

1920-D 10C MS66 PCGS. CAC. It was a dark and stormy night. A pirate ship appeared over the horizon. The king lived in splendor and plenty while the people starved. Nice coin.
Or, as another cataloger wrote with less literary flourish:
Most collectors clamor for Full Bands pieces, leaving the rare high-end non-Full Bands examples of the 1920-D Mercury dime somewhat underrated. This CAC-approved Premium Gem displays brilliant, satiny mint luster and well-preserved surfaces. Weakness on the central reverse is not unusual for the issue. Population: 13 in 66 (1 in 66+), 1 finer. CAC: 5 in 66, 1 finer (11/16).(Registry values: N2998)
