Description

1921 Mercury Dime, MS66 Full Bands
Just Two Coins Numerically Finer at PCGS

1921 10C MS66 Full Bands PCGS. Although die clashing and die erosion are seen on some examples of this scarce Philadelphia issue, the present coin is sharply struck throughout. Amber-gold and lemon-yellow patina makes an appearance at the margins and within a few of the recesses of the central motifs, but otherwise the coin is silver-white with satin frost. Coruscating luster flashes across the Premium Gem surfaces. Only a few microscopic ticks on the fasces are visible with a glass. Population: 44 in 66 (2 in 66+) Full Bands, 2 finer (3/15).(Registry values: N4719)
