Description
Choice 1921-D Mercury Dime
Ex: Eliasberg
1921-D 10C MS64 PCGS. Ex: Eliasberg. A key date in the
Mercury dime series, with a mintage of just over 1 million pieces,
the 1921-D is quite scarce at the Choice level. This coin has the
added cachet of its past residence in the Eliasberg Collection, one
of the most storied collections of all time. The surfaces are a
mottled silver and gray color, with bright mint luster. The strike
is sharp in most areas, but the central bands on the fasces lack
full definition. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 33 in
64, 22 finer (8/10).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23HF, PCGS# 4936, GSID# 4543)
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
