1921-D Dime, MS66 Full Bands
Only Three Coins Finer at NGC
1921-D 10C MS66 Full Bands NGC. CAC. From a low mintage of
just more than 1 million pieces, the 1921-D Mercury dime is very
rare in Premium Gem condition with the Full Bands designation. The
present coin is a sharply detailed Premium Gem with a touch of
softness on some of the peripheral lettering. The lustrous surfaces
display wisps of pale green and ice-blue patina, with specks of
amber. Census: 14 in 66 Full Bands, 3 finer (3/16).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2011), lot 3387.(Registry values: N4719)
