Description
1923-S Dime, MS65
Challenging S-Mint With Full Bands
1923-S 10C MS65 Full Bands PCGS. A distinctive olive-gold
patina blankets the obverse -- and to a lesser extent, the reverse
-- of this Gem 1923-S. A rare S-Mint from the 1920s with Full
Bands, the coin shows a consistently sharp strike on all of the
raised elements including the date, Liberty's wings and curls, and
the reverse legend. Scarce as a date as well as a strike rarity,
this San Francisco issue is nearly unobtainable any finer. Lustrous
and well-preserved. Population: 39 in 65 (1 in 65+) Full Bands, 5
finer (2/16).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23HH, PCGS# 4941, Greysheet# 4546)
