1923-S Mercury Dime, MS67 ★
The Finest NGC Specimen
1923-S 10C MS67 ★ NGC. This NGC Star designated Superb Gem
has remarkable rainbow iridescence around ivory centers on each
side. The strike is sharp and nearly full, although the central
bands on the reverse are only 90% split. There is no doubt that
many would call this piece "Full Bands." This is the only 1923-S
Mercury dime that NGC has certified as MS67, and it carries the
Star designation (10/11). The finest NGC Full Bands coin only
grades MS66.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23HH, PCGS# 4940, Greysheet# 4545)
