Sharp 1924-S Dime, MS64 Full Bands
1924-S 10C MS64 Full Bands NGC. A notoriously ill-produced issue in the Mercury dime series, the 1924-S currently has seen only 38 pieces at the near-Gem Full Bands level at NGC, with six finer (12/09). This specimen shows frosty silver-white surfaces with a light dusting of gold. The central and overall strike is far better than usual, despite some lightness at BE of LIBERTY.
