Description

1924-S Dime, MS65 Full Bands
Almost Uncollectible Finer

1924-S 10C MS65 Full Bands PCGS Secure. The 1924-S is a better date in the Mercury dime series. Gems are scarce with or without Full Bands, and only a handful of finer coins are known. This MS65 Full Bands representative displays a sharp strike and radiant mint luster. Warm russet-gold toning yields deeper amber tinges across the right-hand side of the reverse. A small mark on Liberty's jaw is the only imperfection of note. We have not handled a finer Full Bands example of this issue since 2010. An important opportunity for the Registry Set collector. Population: 21 in 65 (1 in 65+) Full Bands, 3 finer (11/18).
