1924-S Mercury Dime, MS65 Full Bands
Conditionally Elusive S-Mint Issue
1924-S 10C MS65 Full Bands PCGS. The availability of Full
Bands 1924-S Mercury dimes declines rapidly above MS64. Gems like
the present are rare, and only a handful of finer pieces are known.
This piece displays luminous satin luster with antique-gold color,
which is most prevalent on the obverse. The central strike is
sharp, mirroring well-defined legends in the margins. We have seen
only a handful of Gem Full Bands 1924-S dimes within the last
decade, and we have not handled a finer Full Bands example since
