Description

1925 Mercury Dime, MS66 Full Bands
Seldom Encountered With Sharp Strike

1925 10C MS66 Full Bands PCGS. David Lange, in his The Complete Guide to Mercury Dimes, notes nearly all coins of this date display an overall softness in striking details. This example is an exception. Aside from the designated fullness in the central reverse, the peripheral areas of both sides are sharply struck. The only hint of softness lies on the central obverse elements, and even those Areas are sharper than usually seen. A few streaks of green toning accent the mostly brilliant surfaces. Population: 47 in 66 Full Bands, 25 finer (2/10).(Registry values: N1793)
