Description
MS67 Full Bands 1925 Mercury Dime
Difficult to Locate With Sharp Strike
1925 10C MS67 Full Bands PCGS. While many Mercury dimes of
the 1920s possess strong central detail, David Lange notes the 1925
issue is often weak in this area. The present specimen is clearly
an exception to that rule, as the striking details are sharp
throughout, including the all-important bands, which are fully
split. The mostly brilliant surfaces are accented by streaks of
champagne and russet toning. The date is decidedly rare in the MS67
Full Bands designation. Population: 22 in 67 Full Bands, 3 finer
(2/10).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23HM, PCGS# 4949, GSID# 4486)
