Semi-Key 1926-D Dime, MS66 Full Bands
1926-D 10C MS66 Full Bands NGC. David Lange (2005) writes of the 1926-D dime: "Finding one with both full bands and a fully struck legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA will be challenging." This Premium Gem comes very close to attaining this goal: a well executed strike transcends the Full Bands to bring strong definition to all of the design elements, with the exception of minor softness in the outer parts of the letters in AMERICA. Further enhancing this coin's eye appeal is the bright luster and well preserved, essentially untoned surfaces.
