Intermingled Iridescence
1926-D 10C MS66 Full Bands PCGS. CAC. The obverse of this
sharply detailed Premium Gem exhibits intermingled blue-green,
violet, and iridescent toning over half its surface, the balance in
blazing silver luster. The reverse is mostly untoned with a few
iridescent splashes. Only a few finer examples have been certified,
four at PCGS and one at NGC. Population: 17 in 66 Full Bands, 4
finer (4/11).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23HS, PCGS# 4957, Greysheet# 4556)
