Bold MS66 Full Bands 1927-S Dime
1927-S 10C MS66 Full Bands PCGS. CAC. While it is not perceived as a Full Bands rarity to the same extent as the 1945 or other dates, there are few examples of the 1927-S issue that offer both a sharp strike and impressive preservation. This Premium Gem is a delightful exception, impressively lustrous and exactingly detailed. Gold-to-orange toning accented in violet occupies the upper right obverse and much of the reverse, while the remainder of the coin is gleaming silver. It is an amazing survivor, one of just 12 MS66 Full Bands representatives certified by PCGS with none finer (5/10).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23HW, PCGS# 4965, GSID# 4562)
