Description

1934 Mercury Dime, MS68 Full Bands
Exceptional Preservation

1934 10C MS68 Full Bands PCGS Secure. The 1934 production numbers marked a return to the figures seen in the 1920s, after a several-year hiatus during the Great Depression when the need for new coinage was minimal. However, even though more than 24 million dimes were produced in this year, high-grade survivorship is slight. Only 25 other pieces have received this ultimate grade, and none are finer at either service (11/18). Thick mint luster covers each side and there is just the palest suggestion of color present.
