Description
1939-D Mercury Dime, MS69 Full Bands
Breath-Taking Color and Quality
1939-D 10C MS69 Full Bands PCGS. PCGS has certified only 18
Mercury dimes in MS69, and 17 of them are Full Bands 1939-D
examples (4/15). This spectacular beauty is nothing short of
captivating, not only in regards to the seemingly perfect, frosty
surfaces and the razor-sharp details, but also the incredible
multicolor toning that enlivens the surfaces. The obverse showcases
vivid ribbons of ruby-red, forest-green, gold, russet, and crimson
along the upper and lower margins, with a splash of radiant silver
over Liberty's face. The reverse is even more deeply colored,
showing swirling shades of the same color palette, but also
exhibiting hints of amber and midnight-blue around the peripheries.
Staggering quality and eye appeal. Population: 17 in 69 Full Bands,
0 finer (4/15).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23JS, PCGS# 5019, Greysheet# 4596)
